"It's more than x's and o's. They make you realize that every stroke you make on a kid, positive or negative, has an effect because he/she stores it in a memory bank. In the end, you must ask yourself: what kind of coach am I? Am I trusting? Committed? Less committed? Do I take things for granted? Am I the same type of coach as I started out to be? It is a self-realization. It is more about helping your kids develop as people rather than just athletics."
